News Flash! QCT Friday Practicas/Milongas move to North End Studio Starting February 3!
Don’t let habit guide your feet on Friday nights. In response to the dancers who yearn for a wooden dance floor, our regular Friday night QCT activities will be taking place at North End Studio beginning February 3.
Many thanks to Victoria Moore, our long-time hostess, for making us welcome at Salsalina for so many years. We look forward to special tango events and workshops at Salsalina in the future. Salsalina Dance Studio is available for tango practice by appointment! $15 per hour. Contact Victoria info@salsalina.com or 802 598-1077.

Benefit event to aid tango dancer/glass artist Bud Shriner, 6-10pm the Mount Philo Inn in Charlotte
. 
News Flash! A fire in January destroyed the studio where Shriner produces his distinctive, hand-blown Church and Maple Glass -- vases, bowls, cake plates, lighting fixtures and more -- in an array of jewel-toned colors. Members of the community have come together to provide support for Shriner’s efforts to salvage and rebuild the studio. Suggested donation $15 includes light food from Starry Night Café and others.  A selection of Church and Maple glass will be available for sale, as well as a silent auction of donated goods and services from generous community members. At 7pm, there will be a beginner lesson in Argentine tango with Elizabeth Seyler, followed by open dancing to a varied playlist of swing, salsa and Argentine tango. About the Instructor: Elizabeth M. Seyler has danced tango since 2001 and has taught it since 2006 in Philadelphia, Montreal, and Vermont. She creates an interactive, playful, inclusive environment for students of all ages and learning styles. She holds a master's degree in education and a Ph.D. in dance and has published original research in tango books and presented at international tango conferences since 2006.
